Aslin Tutuyan
Aslin Tutuyan is a Partner and Senior Trial Lawyer at Mandell Trial Lawyers, where she represents individuals and families in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, toxic exposure, and environmental harm cases. Aslin is known for combining relentless advocacy with human compassion, guiding her clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives with both strength and empathy. She has tried cases to verdict against insurance companies, major corporations, and public entities, including Metro and the Los Angeles Times.
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Aslin is the daughter of Armenian immigrant parents and the first lawyer in her family. She earned degrees in English and Sociology from the University of Southern California before attending Southwestern Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and was recognized as an Outstanding Oralist in an international law competition. Her commitment to justice began at a young age and continues to shape the way she advocates for her clients.
Aslin has built her career representing plaintiffs against insurance companies, corporations, public entities, and other powerful institutions. She has also played a leading role in complex litigation involving large-scale toxic exposure and community harm, work that reflects her deep commitment to protecting families and neighborhoods.
Aslin is a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only national organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges whose members are selected based on substantial jury-trial experience and a demonstrated commitment to civility, integrity, and professionalism. She proudly serves as the 2026 Vice Chair of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ Women in Law Committee. She is also active in the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Armenian Bar Association and frequently speaks on trial practice, litigation strategy, traumatic brain injury, premises liability, and the advancement of women in the legal profession. She is deeply committed to mentoring students and young lawyers.
Outside the courtroom, Aslin’s proudest title is “Mom” to her two children. She is also a marathon runner, indoor cycling instructor, and Peloton enthusiast.
